Xeidon, The Packmaster

A group of bandits chase someone into the woods. Suddenly a man perched atop a giant wolf appears before them, "This forest is protected! Go back where you came from!"

"You gunna make us? Yeah, you and what army?" asks one of the stupid bandits. The bandit looks to his friends and chuckles and looks back to the man. The man smiles, an arrow notched in his bow ready to be fired. A growl rumbles from the right of the group, another mirrors from the left. The bandits begin to whimper for they realize they've just met Xeidon and his pack.

As with any gestalt character, you should check with your DM before trying this build. The gestalt rules say that if 2 classes get the same abilities to pick the path that progresses the fastest. Sneak attack will only count classes for rogue if you go rogue/ninja, but for channeling you get 2 pools and thus get both a paladin and a cleric's channeling if you pick paladin/cleric. So the first question is does druid's nature's bond and ranger's hunter's bond stack to give you 2 animal companions or can you just use the druid's animal companion. This post assumes that they will give you 2 animal companions, or 2 pools from which to divide out your animal companion levels once you take pack lord.

This character is 4 characters in 1. Being a pack lord druid lets us get 2 animal companions, ranger gives us another one. Each wolf has its own role on the battlefield. Fang is the attack wolf, he load up on feats to increase his damage. Tache is the battlefield controller, her goal is to make the most of attacks of opportunity. Athea is our skirmisher and mount, she charges into the thick of battle with, Xeidon on her back, and trips her target and runs out the other side. Finally, Xeidon himself is the archer, shooting down enemies from wherever Athea takes him.

(This character has chosen wolves for his flavor. Any animal can be exchanged here pretty easily. Alternatively you could use a variety of animals and have the same effect.)

Druid Pack Lord:
Pack bond lets you split your druid levels up between multiple animal companions. We are going to utilize this to gain a second animal companion and augment them with boon companion. At level 8 they will have level = to ours, every level after they will lose 1/2 level (switching back and forth.) This starts to taper out at around 15 when your companions will be 3 or more levels lower. At this point we will want to focus on keeping one of the wolves close to our level and use the other for out of combat use.

Ranger:
At level 4 we get another pet, this one is at level -3. We will take boon companion for this companion as well making it effective level equal to our level +1 (but capped at our level). This wolf is likely to be our main attacker as it will gain our favored enemy bonuses as well.

Beast Master archetype: (depends on DM ruling)
This archetype lets us spread levels of ranger out the same way that pack lord lets us spread out druid levels. The best part is at level 12 it gets rid of the -3 for the effective level for the animal companion. The problem is that with Pack Lord becoming less and less effective at higher level we don't want to split the rangers companion's levels up as well. But, if your DM will allow combining the 2 classes to have 1 pool to split, the archetype becomes viable as with boon companion on the ranger's wolf will grant an extra effective level to spend. With this ruling we will have 3 level 12 companions at 12, at 15 they could all be 14, and all be 16 at 18. This will keep them all mostly viable throughout the character's career.

Leadership:
If allowed we can take leadership and awaken one of the wolves to use as a cohort. This will keep it at level -2. Then we focus on keeping the other one max level and use any extra to gain a few scouts or other non combat allies.
