Staff Magus: Gestalt design

For a different approach today I'm going to start with a standard character and add a second class to make him gestalt. The character I have in mind today is a staff magus. We are going to be taking a look at what the staff magus is and what classes would best help him do what he wants to do.

Xeidon, The Packmaster

A group of bandits chase someone into the woods. Suddenly a man perched atop a giant wolf appears before them, "This forest is protected! Go back where you came from!"

"You gunna make us? Yeah, you and what army?" asks one of the stupid bandits. The bandit looks to his friends and chuckles and looks back to the man. The man smiles, an arrow notched in his bow ready to be fired. A growl rumbles from the right of the group, another mirrors from the left. The bandits begin to whimper for they realize they've just met Xeidon and his pack.

Raina- Light of the inheritor

Raina was found as a lost child near the Sellan River. Adopted by crusaders, warring against the demonic hordes of the worldwound, she was trained from an early age to take up her sword in the name of Imeodae and strike down the vile abominations. Once on the front lines, she came to realize the power of healing. Tending to wounds of hurt soldiers so they could continue the fight was often a more important task than falling random demons.

Then her destiny was revealed. She was out defending citizens of Kenebras after a vicious attack on the city, when a group of demoralized, crazed crusaders tried to sacrifice her to gain power they needed to fight off the demon horde. But, Imeodea sent her a group of adventurers to save her and help her find the path she needed to take to save the city, to save the world, from the demon threat.

Jelik- The Frostfire

Jelik would look human except that his hair seems to flow like flickering fire. His tattoos of blue and red fire seem to dance up his arms and collide on his chest. An Ifrit with the power of water elementals coursing through his body could drive one mad. Instead the he has found a balance, a calm center. Jelik is easy to get along with, but those who provoke him are quickly destroyed by his combined mastery of fire and ice.

Lenola- Bandit Hunter

Lenola tried to live a quiet with her husband and child. While this lasted many years, one day  her home was raided by bandits. Neither parent was trained to fight and both were seriously wounded. But the wounds were nothing compared to seeing their child murdered in front of them for trying to stand up to the bandits.

Bandits of the river lands beware. If you see this woods woman with a gruesome scar across her face, it's too late, for Lenola has come to enact her revenge.
